Anemia is a condition when the blood doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin to transport oxygen to the body’s cell.

Anemia often results in fatigue, lightheadedness, and shortness of breath. The condition currently affects 3.5 million Americans. Recent studies suggest that moringa leaves may be better at improving iron sufficiency than conventional iron supplements.

One tablespoon of moringa leaf powder provides an excellent source of iron. Moringa also has 7 times the amount of iron as spinach.

Diabetes remains the 7th leading cause of death in the US, 95% of which are Type 2 diabetes.

Prediabetes is a condition that causes higher-than-average levels of blood sugar without adequate levels of insulin, which leads to glucose building up in the blood instead of being converted to energy.

Glucose builds up in the blood can lead to serious health problems, including blindness, kidney failure, heart disease, and even stroke.
Many people refer to moringa as the “miracle tree” across Latin America, South-East Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. This is because of its nutrient-density and medicinal properties. Moringa is rich in antioxidants that fight against oxygen-free radicals, which can contribute to cholesterol build-up and inflammation.

Studies suggest that moringa may help reduce the number of free radicals, improve the function of the heart, and prevent cell damage along blood vessel walls.

Moringa is also packed with fiber. Fiber can contribute to heart health by improving bowel movement, lowering cholesterol, and reducing the risk of stroke and diabetes.

A single serving of moringa gives you 12% of your daily fiber needs. We recommend mixing Kuli Kuli Pure Moringa Vegetable Powder into a bowl of oatmeal.
Inflammation is a healthy, natural response that helps the body heal; however, too much or chronic inflammation causes stress. Inflammation helps repair an injury or fight a potential health threat. But when the body is in a state of chronic disease, the continual production of the systemic inflammatory response can be detrimental. Chronic low-grade inflammation has been associated with diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and Alzheimer’s.

For instance, using it in a health shake, as salad dressing and in recipes where “a rich, nutty flavor, such as stir-fried dishes and marinades” is desired.

The leaves are often used to make a nutrient-dense tea, the pods are often used for the organic Moringa oils, and even the seeds are being used for such unique tasks as purifying water. Though there are no set or recommended dosages for Moringa, it is well known that even in small amounts (such as a half to one teaspoon each day) can yield amazing results.

Moringa, Maqui Berries, and More: 8 Superfood Trends Coming Your Way

Matcha, maca, spirulina, and green tea powder have previously ruled the roost when it comes to supercharging your smoothies, but there’s a new supergreen in town — and it sounds more like a new dance craze than something you’d actually consume. Packed with vitamin C, calcium, potassium, and amino acids, the fine, velvety powder comes from the fast-growing Moringa tree, native to India, Pakistan, and Nepal.

Try sprinkling it into smoothies, yogurts, and juices. On first impression, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a more peppery version of green tea, but the taste is a touch more bitter. Moringa is said to help manage blood sugar and stabilize histamine productionTrusted Source. And despite being totally caffeine-free, it makes for a fabulous natural energy booster.

"Miracle Tree"- Moringa Nutrition

Moringa gets its superfood status from a rich nutrition profile, providing more nutrients per gram than many other plant species. The nutrient density of moringa varies by growing conditions and preparation, but many studies rank moringa with more vitamin C than oranges, more vitamin A than carrots, more potassium than bananas, and more iron than spinach. Moringa is also high in protein, and contains an impressive 8 of the 9 essential amino acids, a rare trait in plant-based proteins.

But incredible nutrient density isn’t the last of Moringa’s claims to superfood fame. Its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant compounds help protect your performance and strengthen your body against a wide variety of diseases.
